(Part 1) The Boiling Point Challenge: A Heated Discussion & Start-up Pitch Session
The water crisis has quite literally reached its boiling point. We will lead a lively session to bring tensions to a boiling point in a controversial statement panel. This is followed by ‘shark tank like’ pitches from five promising water entrepreneurs. Pitches will cover the most promising solutions in each of the UN 2023 Water Conference themes: Water for Health, Sustainable Development, Climate, Cooperation, and Take Action.

The judges and audience (YOU!) will vote on which entrepreneurs rise to the top to win the $50,000 Grand Prize and $10,000 Audience Choice Award.

(Part 2) Keynote Speakers: Aquapreneur Friso Klapwijk & Renowned Artist Allison Newsome
Learn how Dutch entrepreneur Friso Klapwijk pioneered a system to transform unused urban flat roofs into a smart grid for rainwater capture and green space. RainKeep artist Allison Newsome, recognized in 2022 Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas Awards, will open the discussion on how nature-based solutions inspire circular water design.
