Water Innovation & Business

The “Water Innovation & Business” high-level plenary, networking, and matchmaking event is a flagship event of the New York Water Week. This event will bring together innovators, leaders, private sector entrepreneurs, and next-generation talent in the water sector from the US, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and beyond.

The event will take place at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York City on Wednesday, March 22 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. The high-level plenary session will start at 5:30 p.m. sharp and will be directly followed by a networking reception including matchmaking.

The event will be hosted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Washington D.C., the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York City, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and Enterprise Europe Network.

It will be attended by–amongst others– His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Mark Harbers, and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Liesje Schreinemacher. The Mayor of New York Eric Adams is present as well, and he will deliver a keynote speech.

Through interactions and engagements, both formal and informal, we hope that you will be able to help inspire and sustain collaboration that accelerates and scales water initiatives around the globe. This event will show the importance of the private sector in taking responsibility for and offer solutions to the water challenges facing the world.

This event is not open to the public.
