Join the Urban Park Rangers as we explore the vernal pools of Alley Pond Park. Vernal pools are seasonal wetlands that are home to many distinct plants and animals. Rangers will talk about what kinds of amphibians can be found here, their life cycles, and how the geological history of Long Island has contributed to the formation of these unique habitats.
