Meet young water activists online
Youth activism is a strong trend at the New York Water Week and the UN 2023 Water Conference. In the online session Building Youth Leadership for Accelerating Change you can meet young water advocates and learn more about how they want to influence the word.
Young people play can play an important role in transforming societies but this is still largely an untapped potential. In the online session Building Youth Leadership for Accelerating Change on 22 March, young people from different regions will reflect on the role youth can play. How can the educational system prepare people for future water challenges? What is needed if we want young inclusive leaders who are conscientious, responsible, empathetic and ready to catalyze change?
The dialogue will give young people a chance to articulate their perspectives on the learning pathways and will result in a summary of recommendations aimed at building youth leadership for accelerating change. It will be promoted through the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education’s webpage and social media platforms.
