This event is an in-depth exploration with a targeted audience and focus on the private sector. Building portfolios in the field of water and sanitation; the need for risk reduction and capacity building combined with a deep understanding of the sector, enabled a combined commitment of USD 860 million.

Speakers will include the Minister of Water and Sanitation of Kenya, Senegal and Ethiopia, African Banks, Impact Investors and a Guarantee provider.

The Governments of Kenya, Senegal and Ethiopia acknowledge the need for private funding to reach universal access to drinking water and sanitation. With the organisations in the panel we committed to reach over USD 860 million in investments and will discuss examples to facilitate investing in WASH.

Highlights:

  • Signing of the partnership between the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) and Aqua for All
  • Signing of the contract between Aqua for All, La Banque Agricole (Senegal) and Swiss Capacity Building Society (SCBF)
